Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex on One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were featured on episodes of the show, helping to propel her debut album from 2012 into Top 20 of the Billboard 200. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The last decade saw she was a guest on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as a number of television shows. She also released some singles which weren't albums. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to music from the country genre and later went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. However, she made her acting debut as young teenager in 2002's independent horror movie Dead/Undead. Over the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season (2007-2008). Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She stayed until partway through the final season of the show in the year 2012. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal with Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Stop on an episode in 2011 in One Tree Hill. It later appeared on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. This song landed on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. Kramer continued to appear in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and the duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach #3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. In September 2016, her appearance on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th-place finish. This was also the season when she scored a contemporary-adult smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
