Robyn Rihanna fenty, also called Rihanna by the Barbadians is a singer/songwriter. Her biggest hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. An extremely successful performer in the prime of her youth she has already sold more than 140 million records and 41 million songs worldwide becoming one of the most successful artists of all time. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. The singer was disturbed by the mess within her home and the constant conflict among her parents. So she began to immerse herself into music. As a teenager, she joined a musical group. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was extremely impressed. The producer asked her to move to New York in order to pursue a full-time career in the field of singing, which she gladly did. Rihanna became a huge hit when her debut album hit the market. Young people were captivated by her catchy songs which had them on their feet, and this brought her into the movie industry. The young and gifted Rihanna is now regarded as both a teen-idol and a fashion idol. Rihanna uses her fame to the fullest extent her celebrity and has been able to support numerous charity causes.
